Dr. Bennardo wishes to thank everyone who attended his Retirement Celebration that took place last night. As Dr. Bennardo stated last evening, he considers working as the Superintendent of our South Huntington learning family these past nine years as a blessing.
In recognition of Dr. Bennardo’s leadership, the Board of Education presented the gift of the DR. DAVID P. BENNARDO PARK, which will be situated on the land with the great sleigh-riding hill next to the James Kaden Administrative Offices!
A most fitting tribute to a leader who has provided so much these past nine years and will be remembered well for his transformative and visionary leadership, dedication, empathy and kindness.
