Congratulations to Walt Whitman High School Class of 2022 graduate, Ashli Wuss, in becoming the recipient of a new and beautiful viola provided by Bob Murphy’s Violin Shop at Murphy’s Music! For over 20 years, Bob Murphy’s Violin Shop has been coordinating their violin and viola scholarship program for high school musicians across Long Island. This spring, Ashli was the lucky and well deserved recipient of this year’s scholarship. We could not think of a more outstanding and meritorious student for this award.
Ashli is a graduating senior who plans to continue playing while she attends Ferrum College in the fall. In honor of her continued dedication to her instrument, Murphy’s Music awarded this deserving senior the once in a lifetime scholarship to ensure her ability to continue making beautiful music beyond the walls of Walt Whitman High School.
We are incredibly grateful for Bob Murphy’s Violin Shop at Murphy’s Music for continuing to recognize our talented students! Their generosity over the years through this scholarship program continues to support our students who truly deserve the recognition while aiding them the invaluable tools to further their talents and love of music.
