As part of Walt Whitman’s annual end-of-the-year awards ceremonies, our high school seniors and their families gathered in the Performing Arts Center for the Senior Scholarship Awards Presentation. Students were awarded scholarships presented by various private and community organizations and foundations that see our selected seniors as the embodiment of the ideals their organizations and/or families embrace. The Walt Whitman High School Class of 2024 is special and they have touched the lives of many in often subtle but meaningful ways. Congratulations to all on their achievements! We thank these organizations and families for their support of our graduates and for seeing all their potential.
