The South Huntington Council of PTA awarded scholarships and achievement awards to over 60 exceptional Walt Whitman High School seniors from the Class of 2024. These students embody the best qualities of our high school and represent the best of our community. They’ve exceeded expectations in academics, music, and the arts, athletics, vocational skills, and citizenship, and we are proud to offer them these scholarships and awards. 

Thanks to the extremely generous support of the South Huntington Community with both the Miss Chocolate Fundraiser and the Lip Sing for Scholarships event, the PTA was able to add 18 new scholarships this year, awarding a sum of 68 scholarships with a total value of $46,000!  We are extremely thankful for the community who supported our fabulous PTA’s efforts.
