Walt Whitman’s Varsity Football team held their end of the season celebration and awards ceremony at the high school this January. The team was joined by their coaches, school administration, parents and families to honor and recognize the successes of the team as a whole and stand-out athletes from the 2024-2025 team. 

The dinner, sponsored by Head Coach Rosa and planned by Team Mom Zahra Ali, provided an opportunity for the team to be recognized both for their collective efforts on a great season, and for their individual accomplishments. 

Special thank you to the Walt Whitman High School Football staff, Head Coach Robin Rosa, Coach Milazzo, Coach Buck, Coach Elmore, Coach Olberding, and Athletic Trainer Pete White, WWHS principal Dr. Murphy, Athletic Director Mr. Barth, and the entire custodial staff for all their help and support. A big thank you also goes out to the Wildcat Booster Club who volunteered to help serve food, as well as the student volunteers from Mrs. O'Neill’s Leadership classes who helped before and after the event.
