When you get an opportunity to watch your favorite teachers and administrators on the basketball court with the magic trickery that is the Harlem Magic Masters, well, it just doesn’t get any better. Thanks to the Wildcat Booster Club, the Harlem Magic Masters brought their brand of basketball wizardry back to South Huntington to take on our very own ‘All-State Team’ opponents who are known for displaying an unusual amount of feistiness. It seems no matter how much time has passed, the antics and talent of these renowned teams doesn’t disappoint. 

This year’s event was no different, offering an evening of fun and entertainment for everyone. The professionals from the Magic Masters team displayed their talents with slam dunks, basketball spinning, and perfectly choreographed tricks both with our parents and student spectators, as well as our district staff team players. Our SHUFSD All-Stars were up for the challenge and it made for such a fun night!

Congratulations go out to all our schools for sending such a great group of All-Star representatives and for selling so many tickets that help support the wonderful things the Booster Club does for our student athletes. Thank you to the Wildcat Booster Club for sponsoring this year’s event and bringing the fun back to Walt Whitman’s North Gym!

The South Huntington All-Star Team took on the Harlem Magic Masters on Friday, January 31st in Whitman’s North Gym.

Players from Silas Wood made their way down the court to score against the professional athletes.
