Dear South Huntington Community,

In response to recent News 12 reports about school lead in water testing results, I want to reassure South Huntington families that all school buildings in the district are in full compliance with current New York State Department of Health regulations.

Any outlets in district buildings which exceeded the legal requirement have been removed from service, remediated, retested, and are in compliance with the New York State Department of Health regulations.  We will continue to monitor water levels and report results as mandated by New York State.

Please know that the health and safety of our students and staff will always be our number one concern in South Huntington.
