As part of South Huntington’s ongoing efforts to give back to the community, the Interact Club at Walt Whitman High School is hosting their annual Coat Drive to support those in need on Long Island. Donation bins will be placed in each of our school buildings, running from February 1st to February 12th. The collected items, including gently used or new coats, hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves, will be donated to Maureen’s Haven, a local organization that provides shelter and services to individuals experiencing homelessness.
