The South Huntington School District, in coordination with the Town of Huntington and the WWHS African American Heritage Club, will be hosting the annual Black History Celebration on Thursday, February 13th at Walt Whitman High School. This special evening acknowledges the accomplishments of many Black Americans throughout United States history. This district-wide event will highlight students through musical performances, poetic reading, and historical facts provided by students of all grade levels. As we begin Black History Month, we would like to thank all students, staff, and families who are participating in this annual event!
